Background

JCI City (Junior Chamber International City) is a male youth leadership training organization, founded in 1981, offering development opportunities in personal, social, international, and business areas. Through organizing various activities, such as the "Junior Dragon Ambassador" JCI City aims to cultivate leadership skills and discover potential in its members aged 18 to 40, while giving back to the community. The organization is one of the largest and most active chapters in Hong Kong and has received numerous awards for outstanding chapters.

Events Overview

This year JCI City’s theme is 「感恩同行45」. The 45th anniversary dinner will be held on 26 June at 「龍堡酒店」. Jaycee friends are invited to mark the milestone, thank senior members for what they gave, and thank peers who have walked with the chapter.

Events Overview

The 30th 「創意創業大賞」, themed 「港創聚,匯全球」, is linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and recognises brands with both inventive strength and social value. In February, 「與企業家的咖啡時刻」 invited Kenneth Yu and Mr Lee (李顯耀) to speak on public speaking and opening international markets, and on the funding and talent bottlenecks founders face. Twenty-nine previous editions have recognised more than 300 brands. 「創意創業會」 now helps local design travel, and supports Hong Kong’s place as an innovation centre in Asia-Pacific.

Events Overview

The 2026 「兒童飛龍大使」 election, themed 「童攜手,韌未來」, opened on 7 February and recruited 100 「小飛龍」. A two-day, one-night camp trains teamwork and service. In March a strict panel chose representatives who will go to Fukuoka and Malaysia in July. The project ties quality education, climate action and partnership to raising young leaders with an international outlook and a sense of duty.

Events Overview

「全城義剪日」 2026, themed 「青出於藍勝於藍 剪現關愛創未來」, launches on 25 April at Tung Wah College. Young people receive hairdressing and cross-generation communication training. On 31 July more than 100 salons across all 18 districts will cut hair free for older people and grassroots residents, with health checks on site.

Events Overview

From January to April: on 15 January the board installation, 「因緣起動 緣聚城市」, drew more than 200 people to open the 45th year. On 12 February 「資深會之夜」 marked 25 years of the senior club. The 12 March fund-raising dinner raised more than HK$400,000. On 27 March the chapter visited its sister chapter in Petaling Jaya for that chapter’s 45th anniversary. On 9 April a joint monthly fellowship gathering combined the Niigata ASPAC briefing with a sake tasting.

「全城義剪日」, 「兒童飛龍大使」 and the 30th 「創意創業大賞」

The ninth 「全城義剪日」, themed 「青出於藍勝於藍 剪現關愛創未來」, served all 18 districts and more than 6,000 people in all. Heavy rain on the closing day still brought more than 300 older people and nearly 100 volunteers. The project also trained hidden youth and people recovering from drug dependence, who then gave free haircuts and AI identity photos on site.

「全城義剪日」, 「兒童飛龍大使」 and the 30th 「創意創業大賞」

The 2026 「兒童飛龍大使」 election closed in Wan Chai after a year of sustainability training, with 400 guests and parents attending.

「全城義剪日」, 「兒童飛龍大使」 and the 30th 「創意創業大賞」

One hundred 11-year-old 「小飛龍」 learned about the environment through ecology, disaster preparedness, guiding practice and an exchange in Japan.

「全城義剪日」, 「兒童飛龍大使」 and the 30th 「創意創業大賞」

「全城義剪日」, 「兒童飛龍大使」 and the 30th 「創意創業大賞」

The 30th 「創意創業大賞」, themed 「港創聚,匯全球」, recognises the achievements, ideas and economic contribution of Hong Kong’s creative founders, and lets people who want to start a business learn from them. This year the theme takes Hong Kong entrepreneurs onto stages around the region and builds a stronger local business circle.
